Greetings! Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church came from humble yet faith-focused beginnings. Today, hundreds of people, families and individuals, consider this place their spiritual anchor at Lake of the Ozarks as well as their base for discipleship in the name of Jesus Christ.
As a congregation we are committed to Christ and his church. Our mission is to invite persons to be disciples of Jesus Christ, form persons as disciples of Jesus Christ, and send persons out in mission and ministry to others, witnessing in the name of Jesus Christ. This is done by the people pictured through out the Web Site & through the many activities you see.
On this Web Site are those who call Ozark Chapel their church home. We work, worship and play together to be all that God has called us to be, walking each day with Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We look toward the future expecting great things from God as we celebrate our faith and our growth. We believe just as that great hymn says, "Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!"
Come join us in our faith/life journey, get involved and grow in your discipleship.
Shalom, Rick White, Pastor

Where do I park and is there handicap accessibility?
There is handicap and visitor parking located immediately outside our Sanctuary. Our church is wheelchair accessible.
How should I dress for church?
There is no dress code for worship. It is traditional at the lake to come as you are.
Can you tell me about the Traditional Worship Service?
Our 10:30 a.m. service is often described as an informal traditional service. It has a more traditional liturgy with meaningful music, relevant sermons, and prayer. If you like a Formal & Traditional Worship Service, then you might like to try this service. The style and later time make it attractive for many. To learn more about the Traditional Worship Service check out the Worship Service Page.
Can you tell me about the Praise Worship Service?
Our 8:00 a.m. worship service is described as contemporary. The time and informality have made this service another popular option for families with children and youth. To learn more about the Praise Worship Service check out the Worship Service Page.
What exactly is Church School?
Church School describes the period on Sunday morning devoted to small groups. At Ozark Chapel, our Church School Hour is from 9:15-10:15. Here you will find a variety of small group opportunities for children, youth and adults alike. To learn more about these opportunities, check out our Christian Education Page.
Do I have to stand up or be recognized in church?
It has become a tradition at Ozark Chapel to ask first-time visitors to stand up and be recognized so that we may meet and greet you after the service, but the choice to identify yourself as a visitor is yours.
Do I have to sign an attendance pad?
At each service there is an attendance pad that is passed down the pew. This is another opportunity for you to let us know you visited Ozark Chapel. It is also a way for you to know the names of those sitting around you in the worship service.
